For the past few weeks, I have been watching the Apple TV show For All Mankind. An alternate history of the space race, it depicts a world in which the United States and Soviet Union continue to battle it out for supremacy long after the first steps on the moon.
It’s very good, and at some point this week it made me remember something I bookmarked to write about a long time ago but never got around to. Namely: Remember when that tech startup said it was going to roast coffee in space? Whatever happened with that?
